Teradata Brings Enterprise AI to Microsoft OneLake

September 02, 2026
Teradata has integrated its Autonomous Knowledge Platform with Microsoft OneLake, allowing customers to run AI and analytics workloads on OneLake data without moving or copying it.

Teradata announced in a press release an integration between the Teradata Autonomous Knowledge Platform and Microsoft OneLake that lets customers run enterprise AI and analytics on data stored in OneLake without moving or copying it.

The integration uses open Apache Iceberg standards, allowing Teradata users to query OneLake tables in place through standard Iceberg APIs. Microsoft Entra ID handles authentication across platforms, while access controls remain native to the environment.

Customers can use the integration for analytical workloads including complex joins, AI feature pipelines, and tactical queries against OneLake data. Organizations with data in both Teradata and Microsoft Fabric can join and analyze that data without consolidating it into one system.

Read access to Microsoft OneLake tables through Teradata is available now. Teradata said it will demonstrate the integration at the European Microsoft Fabric + SQL Community Conference from Sep. 28 to Oct. 1, 2026, in Barcelona.
