The Heart Monitors Builds AI System for Audience Research

Oct 1, 2026
The Heart Monitors has built a human led AI system that identifies emotional trends and turns audience participation into data for future campaigns.

The Heart Monitors said in a press release that it built a human led AI system for identifying feelings, cultural tensions and emerging trends. The system turns those signals into content, polls and campaigns, then uses audience participation data to inform later work.

The platform includes more than 40 AI modules that analyze emotional tensions, model opposing views and support content creation. Human strategists and creators use the results to produce material for Civil Media and its Don't Hate Debate TV platform.

In its first year, the platform produced more than 600 pieces of content, analyzed 1,230 videos and generated more than 10 million views. It also recorded 220,000 participation actions and built a community of 50,000 people with less than $60,000 in media spending. The work received recognition as a 2026 Webby Honoree and became a finalist in two OMMA Award categories.
