The Select Group Launches Digital Twin Security Service for OT Networks
The Select Group launches TSG/ControlBurn, a security service that models operational technology networks and simulates attack paths, the company announced in a press release. The service uses technology from Frenos to test network changes without accessing live production systems.
TSG builds a digital twin using firewall and router configurations, routing tables, asset inventories, and vulnerability exports. Frenos runs adversary simulations inside the model, while its AI reasoning agent analyzes possible paths to critical systems. The platform requires no agents or network scanning.
The service ranks reachable attack paths, tests network segmentation, identifies the potential reach of a compromised zone, and prioritizes vulnerabilities found on modeled paths. It is available in three tiers, covering assessment, remediation support, and implementation of approved changes. Each tier begins with a four day engagement.
