Thread AI and US Army Develop AI Research Tool for Fire Control
Thread AI entered a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the US Army's DEVCOM Armaments Center to build an AI research and reasoning application, the company announced in a press release. The application will support Army engineers and scientists working on Fire Control Systems.
The organizations will build the application on Thread AI's Lemma orchestration platform. It will connect specialized technical sources, synthesize information, and let researchers trace answers back to their source material.
The application will also include controlled access and security measures for sensitive research. The agreement marks Thread AI's formal expansion into federal and defense projects.
