Tompkins Logistics Launches AI Enabled Supply Chain Model

Tompkins Logistics launched a logistics operating model that combines execution, network coordination and AI enabled intelligence, the company announced in a press release. The model provides centralized accountability across logistics providers, facilities, carriers, transportation modes and fulfillment routes.

Its operational services cover network design and optimization, managed transportation, warehousing and fulfillment, freight brokerage, and final mile delivery. Two intelligence capabilities, the Supply Chain Command Center and Cognitive Logistics Intelligence, monitor network conditions, recommend actions and coordinate work across providers.

The company launched on September 15, 2026. Its leadership team has managed logistics networks representing billions of dollars in annual freight, according to the announcement.
