TransPerfect Acquires Synterex for AI Assisted Medical Writing

TransPerfect acquired Synterex, adding clinical and regulatory writing services and the AgileWriter.ai authoring platform. Financial terms were not disclosed.

TransPerfect announced in a press release on October 1 that it acquired Synterex, a clinical and regulatory writing company serving biotechnology and pharmaceutical customers. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Synterex develops AgileWriter.ai, which supports AI assisted authoring, review and content management for regulated documents. TransPerfect will combine the software and Synterex's writing services with its existing medical writing operations.

Synterex will operate as a division of TransPerfect Life Sciences. Founder and President Jeanette Towles and the Synterex team will remain with the company.
