ugee launches AI 3D printing platform for families
ugee announced in a press release the launch of ugee maker, a 3D printing platform for families, children and beginners. The platform is live and works with consumer 3D printers rather than requiring ugee hardware.
ugee maker includes a moderated library of models in STL format. Official files are tested before release, while the library also accepts user uploads and includes models created with professional artists.
Its CreateLab tool includes AI Magic, which uses technology from Meshy AI to turn uploaded sketches into printable 3D models. Another mode, Fun Playground, lets users customize existing models through a drag and drop interface.
