UnionTech Details Quick AI for 3D Printing Workflows

Oct 12, 2026
UnionTech says its Quick AI platform lets engineers create Process Agents that generate initial 3D printing process plans from historical manufacturing data.

UnionTech detailed in a press release how its Quick AI platform connects AI agents with industrial 3D printing data and software. Engineers can create Process Agents that use previous projects to propose materials, part orientation, supports and print parameters.

For projects with comparable historical cases, UnionTech says these agents can produce an initial process plan in minutes, compared with several hours to multiple days previously. Engineers still review the proposals and conduct physical tests for complex parts, new materials and critical risks.

Quick AI connects with Unionfab Cloud for orders and supply chain operations, Unionfab ONE for model preparation and machine control, and the Auto Product Suite for specialized algorithms. UnionTech says its systems contain nearly 5 million industrial part models and related process parameter records.

Unionfab also uses automated quoting for standardized requests based on model geometry, materials, process rules and cost calculations. Specialized requests are sent to engineers, while pricing commitments, critical tolerances and quality requirements remain subject to established rules and human approval.
