URC Robotics has developed the X40 autonomous floor scrubber for commercial facilities, with up to eight hours of runtime and LiDAR based navigation.

URC Robotics has developed the X40 autonomous floor cleaning robot for commercial facilities, according to Startuppedia. The robot is designed for offices, hospitals, shopping malls and industrial buildings.

The X40 uses LiDAR SLAM, 3D LiDAR and visual odometry to map indoor spaces and estimate its position. A custom ROS 2 Nav2 software stack handles path planning and movement control.

The floor scrubber has a cleaning width of 550 mm and a suction width of 800 mm. It carries 40 litres of fresh water and 45 litres of recovered water, with an operating time of six to eight hours. URC Robotics is headquartered in Jammu and manufactures in Gujarat.
