US Marine Corps Expands Access to Palantir Maven System
The US Marine Corps is expanding access to the Maven Smart System across all organizational levels, according to DefenseScoop. The enterprise license took effect October 1 and allows assigned and attached personnel to obtain individual accounts for networks and security domains they are authorized to access.
The system, provided by Palantir Technologies, combines intelligence, drone video analysis, satellite imagery, troop records, logistics data and supply information. It supports command and control operations across unclassified, secret and top secret environments.
Commands covered by the directive must appoint a Maven Smart System implementation lead and coordinate with counterparts at higher and subordinate levels. The expanded access also includes Marine Forces Reserve Command.
