Vantiq CEO Highlights AI's Role in Smart City Operations
Vantiq CEO Marty Sprinzen will deliver a keynote address at the Smart Cities Summit North America, focusing on the integration of generative AI in public sector and safety operations. Announced in a press release, Sprinzen will discuss how AI is transforming real-time decision-making and operational efficiency in urban environments.
The keynote will explore how cities are leveraging AI to transition from passive monitoring to intelligent execution, enhancing systems like 911 response, utility coordination, and traffic control. By embedding generative AI into core infrastructure, cities can improve precision and accelerate response times, thereby creating more resilient public operations.
Sprinzen's address will draw on live deployments to illustrate how AI is being operationalized to reduce risk and improve coordination in critical systems. The Smart Cities Summit North America gathers over 450 leaders from 30 countries to address urban challenges, emphasizing adaptive infrastructure and the practical application of advanced technology.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
