Verana Health Adds AI Tools and Ophthalmology Datasets
Verana Health introduced new AI tools and datasets for ophthalmology research, the company said in a press release. The products use de identified data from more than 90 million patients and will be presented at the American Academy of Ophthalmology annual meeting from October 9 to 12.
Agent Claire for Life Sciences gives researchers conversational access to disease specific patient datasets without requiring programming skills or analyst support. Its responses include the underlying query logic used to produce each answer.
Verana Health also added retinal vein occlusion and Stargardt disease datasets to its Qdata collection, along with a visual field variable for glaucoma. A collaboration with Bitfount combines AI analysis of eye scans with electronic health record criteria to identify potential clinical trial participants. Results are available through Verana Trial Connect and Bitfount's local application.
