VIAVI Launches CyberFlood CF50 for 100G AI and Security Testing
VIAVI Solutions introduced the CyberFlood CF50 in a press release, a 1U appliance for testing application performance, security, AI inference and large language models at speeds up to 100G. It generates encrypted and mixed application traffic to assess performance, scalability, resilience and user experience.
The CF50 combines Layer 4 to 7 traffic generation, security assessment and AI inference testing. It supports post quantum cryptography, the MITRE ATT&CK framework, automated goal seeking and repeatable traffic mix testing through a web interface without a Microsoft Windows client.
VIAVI says the appliance uses less power and delivers 1.75 times the TLS performance of its nearest competitor. The CF50 joins the CyberFlood CF1000, which provides higher performance for large enterprise deployments.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
