Viega Piping Products Gain OCP Acceptance for Data Center Cooling

Viega's ProPress Stainless and MegaPress Stainless piping products have received OCP Accepted status and joined the Open Compute Project Marketplace.

Viega said in a press release that its ProPress Stainless and MegaPress Stainless products received OCP Accepted status. Both products are now listed in the marketplace operated by the Open Compute Project Foundation.

The stainless steel press fittings were reviewed against OCP specifications for cloud scale liquid cooling. Viega says it is currently the only OCP Solution Provider with accepted press fitting products in the marketplace.

The fittings connect piping without threading, welding or other hot work. They are designed for cooling distribution pipes, prefabricated sections and equipment connections in data centers.
