VinFast and Autobrains Partner with NVIDIA for Level 4 Autonomous Program in Southeast Asia
In a press release, VinFast and Autobrains announced a collaboration with NVIDIA to develop a Level 4 autonomous driving program for Southeast Asia. The initiative was presented at NVIDIA GTC Taipei during COMPUTEX 2026 and is based on the NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion 10 platform.
The program combines VinFast’s vehicle integration with high performance computing from NVIDIA and Autobrains’ Agentic AI software. This modular architecture is designed to address challenges such as system complexity, compute cost, and performance in unpredictable driving conditions. Autobrains’ Agentic AI activates specialized agents only when required by the driving task, reducing processing demand while improving real world decision making.
VinFast aims to make advanced autonomous driving more accessible and cost efficient in the region’s dense and diverse traffic environments. NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion provides a validated hardware and software base, which helps shorten integration time for autonomous vehicle programs. The collaboration marks a significant step in VinFast’s plan to expand its smart electric vehicle capabilities across global markets.
