vivo Introduces OriginOS 7 With Jovi AI Agent

OriginOS 7 adds the Jovi personal AI agent, support for five active applications, and connections to Apple and Windows devices.

vivo introduced OriginOS 7 in a press release on September 21, adding the Jovi personal AI agent and tools for running multiple applications. The company says updates to touch response, graphics, memory management, and system scheduling improve performance.

Origin Workbench coordinates up to five active applications in one task space. Jovi can manage workflows across phones and PCs, run scheduled tasks, and assist with document processing. Snap Note converts images of whiteboards, handwritten notes, and presentation slides into editable rich text documents. Jovi Security logs autonomous actions and requires approval for key steps.

OriginOS 7 also supports notifications and health data from the Apple Inc. Watch, AirPods connections, iCloud file access, and vivo Office Kit integration with iPad, Mac, and Windows devices. A preview program begins September 21 for the vivo X300 Pro and select iQOO devices in India, Thailand, and Malaysia, with availability varying by device and region.
