Vuzix Expands Smart Glasses Distribution Across Australia and New Zealand

Vuzix signed a distribution agreement with CommsPlus covering Australia, New Zealand and selected Pacific markets, and shipped an initial six figure smart glasses order.

Vuzix Corporation announced in a press release a distribution agreement with CommsPlus Distribution covering Australia, New Zealand and selected Pacific markets. Vuzix also received and shipped an initial six figure order for its AI powered smart glasses.

CommsPlus will distribute the Vuzix M400 and LX1 models. It will recruit software developers, systems integrators and AI solution providers, while supporting technical training, solution development and proof of concept programs.

The companies will target mining, logistics, healthcare, utilities, field services, manufacturing and electrical contracting. They will also explore government and defense uses involving computer vision, remote assistance, digital workflows and enterprise integrations.
