Wabi Shifts App Builder to AI Messaging
Wabi is shifting its AI app builder to a messaging experience that combines conversations, tasks, and custom interfaces, according to TechCrunch. Founder Eugenia Kuyda describes Wabi 2.0 as a personal agent that builds an interface when a user needs one.
Users can ask the agent to complete a task and create an app for it within the relevant conversation. Examples include calorie trackers, weightlifting logs, family calendars, language learning tools, and lists of local activities for children.
The new version organizes apps and ongoing tasks around message threads rather than placing everything in one continuous chat. Wabi 2.0 is currently available through invite codes distributed on X.
