Wandercraft Secures $75M for Humanoid Robots with Renault Partnership
Wandercraft has raised $75 million in a Series D funding round, partnering with Renault Group to expand its humanoid robot deployment in industrial settings. The funding round, led by Renault Group, also saw participation from Bpifrance, Teampact Ventures, and Quadrant Management.
Wandercraft, known for its AI-powered exoskeletons, is now venturing into humanoid robots with its new model, Calvin. This robot is designed to perform dangerous tasks in factories and will be deployed in Renault's facilities in the coming months. The partnership with Renault will allow Wandercraft to leverage Renault's manufacturing capabilities to scale up production.
The company has also developed the Atalante X exoskeleton, used in hospitals and rehabilitation centers, and is preparing to launch a personal-use exoskeleton, Eve, by 2026. This expansion into consumer and industrial applications marks a significant shift for Wandercraft, as it aims to broaden the adoption of its robotic mobility solutions.
