Wärtsilä, Schneider Electric and Stanley Consultants Coordinate Data Center Power Delivery
Wärtsilä, Schneider Electric and Stanley Consultants introduced a coordinated approach for US data center power projects, the companies announced in a press release. Called Generator-to-Chip, it combines onsite power generation, electrical infrastructure, automation, engineering and project execution.
Wärtsilä will supply modular engine power plants that can scale with data center demand. Schneider Electric will provide electrical architecture, automation and digital power management, while Stanley Consultants will handle services including permitting, design coordination, construction management and commissioning oversight.
The companies say coordinating these components from the start can reduce handoffs and shorten project schedules compared with sequential delivery. The approach supports grid connected, islanded and hybrid power configurations.
