WasteVision AI Introduces Route Verification for Waste Haulers
WasteVision AI has introduced Route Verification, a new capability that automatically validates each stop on a hauler’s route and produces evidence-based documentation for municipal and commercial customers, announced in a press release.
The system converts operational video and image data into auditable proof of service for residential and commercial routes. Each stop is automatically categorized as Service Confirmed, Attempted but Not Completed, or Not Attempted, with exceptions like blocked access or contamination flagged by the platform. The process is fully automated, so drivers do not need to interact with in-cab devices while performing their routes.
Route Verification builds on WasteVision’s existing Service Verification feature, which documents individual pickups with time-stamped images and geolocation data. The new capability extends that evidence across entire routes, giving operators a complete record of contractual performance. It also helps reduce administrative work by allowing customer service teams to resolve service inquiries more quickly, often in one to two minutes instead of ten.
The platform provides haulers with a verifiable record to support compliance reviews, contract renewals, and performance audits. It also offers participation data for recycling programs, allowing operators to analyze set-out rates and neighborhood engagement. Route Verification is available now for new and existing WasteVision AI customers.
