WCG Acquires The Contract Network to Expand AI Site Enablement Platform
WCG announced in a press release that it will acquire The Contract Network, a company specializing in AI applications for contract and study start-up workflows. The acquisition extends the capabilities of WCG's ClinSphere platform, which supports predictive trial design, site feasibility, and enrollment intelligence.
The Contract Network’s technology, developed in collaboration with academic medical centers including Mayo Clinic, analyzes and identifies inconsistencies in study documents to detect potential issues early in the process. By integrating this technology, WCG aims to streamline contract and budget management during study initiation.
According to WCG, the addition of The Contract Network enhances its site enablement ecosystem by connecting contract intelligence with broader study start-up processes. The combined platform is designed to improve alignment between sites and sponsors and support faster, more predictable decision-making across clinical trials.
