Wibra Adopts Verkada Security Platform Across Its Stores

Oct 16, 2026
Wibra is deploying Verkada's AI assisted security platform across its store network, replacing separate local camera systems with one centrally managed platform.

Wibra is deploying the AI assisted security platform from Verkada across all of its stores, Verkada said in a press release. The rollout replaces separate local camera systems with one cloud managed platform that gives Wibra central access to footage from each location.

Simac, an IT services provider and Verkada partner, is implementing the platform. Wibra selected the system to support proactive store monitoring and provide its IT team with a platform that can expand as the retailer adds locations.

Wibra plans to connect the platform to its point of sale system. This will let staff match transactions such as refunds, cancellations and discounts with relevant video. The retailer also plans to use occupancy data, sales conversion metrics and floor heat maps to assess store layouts, staffing and customer movement.
