World Manufacturing Convention Showcases Robots and Quantum Systems

The 2026 World Manufacturing Convention features more than 900 companies and over 10,000 products and technologies, including robots, AI platforms and quantum computing hardware.

The 2026 World Manufacturing Convention opened in Hefei, China, on September 20 and runs through September 23, the organizer said in a press release. The 70,000 square meter event features more than 900 companies and over 10,000 products and technologies.

Exhibits include humanoid and inspection robots, an electric cargo drone, smart mining equipment and a 180 qubit superconducting quantum processor. Other displays cover AI platforms, advanced materials, solid state transformers, a fusion energy research tokamak and technology for simulating planetary environments.

Anhui Longchuang Intelligent Technology demonstrated millimeter wave radar that detects falls in senior care settings. Its smart space platform serves more than 50,000 senior care facilities and homes.
