WTE Miami Adds AI Matchmaking for 2026 Travel Event

WTE Miami will use SnapCard AI to match attendees with relevant business contacts at its October 2026 travel trade event.

WTE Miami will introduce Fairfest's SnapCard AI matchmaking platform at its October 27 and 28, 2026 event, according to a press release. The event will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Attendees can describe the business connections they want, and the platform will identify relevant contacts among destinations and tourism organizations. Twenty six national tourism organizations and convention and visitors bureaus are confirmed so far.

WTE Miami expects more than 500 exhibitors, 7,000 travel trade professionals, 500 hosted and VIP buyers, and over 10,000 prescheduled business meetings. The program will also include sessions on AI tools for travel professionals and tourism companies.

At OTM 2026, SnapCard AI recorded 7,291 active users from 140 countries. Fairfest said 82% of exhibitors secured meetings, while meeting requests rose 97% from the previous year.
