XCath Integrates NVIDIA Isaac for Advanced Robotic Stroke Treatment
XCath has incorporated the NVIDIA Isaac for Healthcare platform into its robotic systems to enhance stroke treatment capabilities, announced in a press release. This integration aims to democratize access to mechanical thrombectomy, a critical stroke intervention, by leveraging AI-driven simulation and digital twin technology.
The collaboration allows XCath to create comprehensive digital twins of its endovascular robots and human vasculature, accelerating prototyping and testing cycles. This technology also facilitates virtual training environments for surgeons, enabling them to rehearse complex procedures on patient-specific anatomical models.
NVIDIA's Isaac for Healthcare platform provides a robust infrastructure for developing autonomous navigation systems that offer real-time feedback during procedures. These systems can pause operations if unexpected deviations occur, enhancing safety and reliability. XCath's integration of this platform is expected to significantly reduce development time and improve patient outcomes globally.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
