XpertDox Appoints Sales and Partnership Executives

XpertDox appointed Jim Whelan to lead sales and Nick Pierce to oversee strategic partnerships as adoption of its medical coding platform grows.

XpertDox appointed Jim Whelan as senior vice president of sales and Nick Pierce as senior vice president of strategic partnerships, the company announced in a press release. The executives will support adoption of XpertCoding among health systems, federally qualified health centers, group purchasing organizations, management services organizations and other providers.

Whelan has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare technology sales. He will lead sales and provider client acquisition, while Pierce will oversee strategic partnerships and support the sales organization.

XpertCoding automates medical coding and supports risk adjustment, quality metrics reporting and fee for service coding. XpertDox says the platform is designed to improve coding accuracy, reduce claim denials and lower administrative workloads.
