Z Advanced Computing’s Cognitive Explainable-AI Recognized for Level-5 Self-Driving
Z Advanced Computing, Inc. has been recognized as having a superior algorithm for achieving Level-5 self-driving, announced in a press release. The company’s Cognitive Explainable-AI (CXAI) was highlighted by Auto Connected Car and Investors Hangout for its advantages over neural networks and deep learning systems.
ZAC’s brain-inspired CXAI technology uses concept learning to understand rare or unexpected driving situations, a key requirement for full situational awareness in autonomous vehicles. Its algorithms can operate with as few as five to fifty training samples, significantly reducing computational, energy, and carbon costs.
The company stated that its approach can eliminate the need for remote human drivers, extensive simulated training data, and geofenced navigation. ZAC holds over 450 inventions, including 14 issued U.S. patents, and develops applications across autonomous vehicles, security, medical imaging, and smart infrastructure.
