Zoomlion Unveils Z01 Humanoid Robot at KOMATEK 2026 in Istanbul
Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. announced in a press release that its humanoid robot Z01 drew significant attention at KOMATEK 2026 in Istanbul. The bipedal robot demonstrated coordinated movement, precise operation, and interaction capabilities, including a live Tai Chi routine that highlighted its balance and motion control.
Z01 was designed for industrial collaboration, intelligent guidance, and educational applications. It was displayed alongside more than forty pieces of high-end construction equipment that collectively generated over one billion RMB in orders during the event.
Zoomlion stated that Z01 represents its progress in embedded AI and robotics, forming part of the company’s third growth curve. Through its subsidiary Zvalley, the company has developed a digital foundation supported by over 1,300 technicians and researchers. Since 2024, it has accelerated integrated AI development combining hardware and software innovation.
By the end of 2025, Zoomlion had created eight AI-embedded robot prototypes across four categories, including humanoid and wheeled models. These have been tested in real industrial settings such as logistics management, factory inspection, and quality control within Zoomlion Smart City. The company also introduced Robot Ops, a development platform for embedded AI, at Hannover Messe 2026.
