Agentic AI Foundation adds four open agent projects

Agent Skills, Open Responses, OpenEnv, and OpenSandbox join the foundation, bringing its hosted project count to 10.

The Agentic AI Foundation adds four projects contributed by Anthropic, OpenAI, Hugging Face, and Alibaba, as announced in a Linux Foundation press release. The additions bring the foundation's hosted project count to 10.

Anthropic contributed Agent Skills, an open format for packaging instructions, scripts, and resources that agents can load when needed. OpenAI contributed Open Responses, a specification for using a shared request and output structure across multiple model providers.

Hugging Face contributed OpenEnv, a framework for creating and sharing reinforcement learning environments through container services. Alibaba contributed OpenSandbox, which provides sandbox APIs, software development kits, and Docker and Kubernetes runtimes for coding agents, agent evaluation, code execution, and reinforcement learning training.

The projects join Agent2Agent, Agent Router, agentgateway, AGENTS.md, goose, and the Model Context Protocol under the foundation's vendor neutral governance.
