Avante Raises $30 Million for AI Benefits Platform

Avante raised a $30 million Series A to expand its employee benefits platform internationally and develop more AI agents.

Avante raised a $30 million Series A led by Frist Cressey Ventures, according to GeekWire. The round brings the Seattle company’s total funding to $40 million, with participation from Sorenson Capital, Hearst Ventures, Morgan Stanley Next Level Fund and Fuse.

Avante provides AI agents that compare vendor contracts with claims, review plan documents for errors and help benefits teams prepare for renewals. Employees can also use the platform to ask questions about their health care coverage.

The company plans to use the funding for international expansion and additional AI agents following the beta release of Ava Agents. Avante says it serves more than 70 customers and reaches over 385,000 employees and family members.
