CareerVillage Receives $10 Million to Expand AI Career Coach
CareerVillage said in a press release that it received a $10 million grant from NextLadder Ventures. The grant will fund an expansion of Coach, its AI powered career guidance service, as a multiyear grant.
CareerVillage plans to make Coach available through widgets, text messaging, SMS and WhatsApp. It will also integrate the service with learning platforms used by schools and training programs, while adding personalized follow ups based on goals and deadlines set by users.
Coach provides career guidance, resume feedback and interview practice across more than 50 activities. CareerVillage says the service has reached more than 150,000 people through over 30 institutional partners in more than 120 countries.
The grant will also support randomized trials and employment verification to assess whether Coach helps users secure jobs and increase their earnings.
