Carrot Launches AI System to Detect Global Fertility Care Billing Fraud
The global fertility platform Carrot has launched an AI-powered Global Price Monitoring System designed to detect billing abuse in fertility and family-building care, announced in a press release. The tool uses Carrot’s extensive claims data to spot irregularities such as inflated prices or abnormal fee structures across international markets.
According to the company, the system continuously analyzes claims processed in more than 50 currencies, establishing real-time pricing benchmarks for fertility-related services. When the AI detects deviations from these benchmarks, claims are routed to Carrot’s specialists for review before employers are charged.
The new system builds on Carrot’s growing suite of AI capabilities, following its earlier introduction of the 'Sprints' metabolic-fertility program. Carrot says the monitoring platform will strengthen cost oversight for employers funding fertility benefits across regions with limited pricing transparency or regulatory oversight.
