Cognizant and Cognition say in a press release that work using the Devin AI software engineer produced a 37 percent net cost saving at Odyssey Logistics. Delivery throughput increased by about one third compared with the conventional approach.

A seven person Cognizant team used Devin to convert legacy Microsoft Access and Visual Basic for Applications forms into cloud native applications while preserving existing business rules. Devin supported code generation, testing, deployment pipelines and documentation, with Cognizant technical leads or architects reviewing and approving changes.

Odyssey tested the approach on a separate legacy application before the current project, completing that work 21 days after kickoff. The current phase is live and continuing. Cognizant says it has trained more than 3,000 associates to use Devin.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
