CompTIA Plans AgentOps+ Certification for AI Agent Operations
CompTIA announced plans for AgentOps+, a vendor neutral certification for professionals who deploy, secure, monitor, and govern AI agents. The certification and related learning products are planned for release in the second quarter of 2027.
AgentOps+ will cover agent identities, permissions, data access, performance, behavior, and operational health. It will also address incident response, accountability, audits, human oversight, and governance.
The certification is intended for professionals working in DevOps, cloud operations, platform engineering, systems administration, and cybersecurity. CompTIA says employers will be able to use it to assess AI operations skills and train existing staff.
