Freedom Plans Kazakhstan GPU Cloud for 2027
Freedom Holding Corp. said in a press release that it plans to launch its first public GPU cloud in Kazakhstan in 2027. The service will provide companies and developers with computing capacity for AI workloads.
Freedom is developing a $2 billion Sovereign AI Hub under an agreement signed with Kazakhstan's Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development in November 2025. The planned site will have 100 MW of available power and support AI model training, large scale data processing, and AI services for businesses and government agencies.
CEO Timur Turlov said demand is already twice the capacity planned for the hub's first phase. Potential customers have indicated they would lease future capacity for five years.
Freedom also plans to complete the first phase of its AI Super Cluster in the first quarter of 2027. A new Freedom Cloud data center is under construction near Almaty, while the existing cloud service supports more than 3,400 business and public sector customers.
