Hyperbolic Raises $30 Million to Pool GPU Compute
Hyperbolic, an AI infrastructure platform, raised an oversubscribed $30 million Series A1 round led by Walden Catalyst, the venture firm founded by Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan and former Samsung Electronics president Young Sohn, the company said in a press release. Dell Technologies Capital, General Catalyst, Vista Equity Partners, Cambium Capital and Salience Capital also invested.
Hyperbolic pools GPU capacity from many providers into one platform where AI teams can access, resell and orchestrate compute. It says more than 250,000 AI builders use it, including teams at Modal, HeyGen and Pika. The money will fund Forge, its unified control plane, expand its multi-cloud orchestration and build what it calls a Global Compute Grid.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
