Meta's Muse has passed 10 million US downloads within 40 days, extending its rapid growth after downloads topped 3.4 million in September, according to TechCrunch. Sensor Tower estimates the AI companion recorded 10.9 million downloads since its September debut, including 10.2 million in the US.

Muse is one of 12 mobile apps to reach 10 million US downloads within its first 40 days. Its US retention rate was 30% after seven days and 23% after 14 days, compared with averages of 19% and 16% for ChatGPT, Claude and Grok.

Daily active users reached 2.5 million on October 16, up 15% from the previous week. Meta allocated 39% of its October advertising spending to Muse, up from 23% in September. The app also held the top position on the US App Store for all but one day since launch and ranked first on Google Play during the past 30 days.

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
