Omnissa Details Elara Governance Controls for AI and IT Actions

Omnissa detailed Elara, the governance layer introduced with its new AI tools, in a press release. Available in beta, Elara helps IT and security teams authorize AI and IT actions before they affect enterprise systems.

Elara connects data about users, identities, devices, applications, AI tools, agents, models, permissions and policies across Omnissa and third party environments. It can detect unauthorized AI tools on managed devices and govern model access through the Omnissa AI Gateway, including usage controls and token metering.

The service also applies centralized change controls to high impact actions by checking conflicts, freezes and dependencies. It records decisions, authorizations and affected systems to provide audit ready evidence.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
