Positron AI Raises $875 Million at $5 Billion Valuation
Positron AI raised $875 million in Series C financing at a $5 billion post money valuation, the company announced in a press release. NEA, Atreides Management, Valor Equity Partners, Andra Capital, SemiAnalysis Capital and Jim Clark co led the financing.
The company will use the capital to complete the tapeout of its Asimov inference chip, build an engineering data center with more than 2 MW of capacity and increase production of its Titan system. Asimov will tape out on TSMC N3P at the end of 2026, with production planned for the second half of 2027.
Titan will combine four to eight Asimov chips in one system. Positron is also deploying more than 50 racks of its current Atlas inference system at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, where Parasail uses the capacity for its inference service.
