Tenspresso Seeks $50 Million at $500 Million Valuation

Nov 5, 2026
The three month old AI chip startup is discussing a funding round of at least $50 million after raising $20 million from Striker Venture Partners.

Tenspresso is in talks to raise at least $50 million at a $500 million valuation, according to Investing.com, citing Bloomberg. Altimeter Capital Management has approached the AI chip startup about investing, and the size of the round could change.

The Sunnyvale company raised $20 million from Striker Venture Partners several weeks ago. Founded three months ago by former Google tensor processing unit engineers Dong Hyuk Woo and Harshit Khaitan, Tenspresso has a team of 15 people, with many employees from's early AI chip teams.

Tenspresso is designing chips for complex AI workloads with long context windows. It plans to complete the design of its first product in late 2027 or early 2028 and is negotiating with design and manufacturing partners outside the supply chain used by Nvidia and Google, to avoid backlogs at TSMC.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
