Armada Plans Modular NVIDIA Vera Rubin AI Factories
Armada announced in a press release that it will manufacture modular AI factories using the NVIDIA DSX POD reference design and Vera Rubin platform. Armada and Johnson Controls plan to build 500 MW of distributed capacity in 2027.
The companies will complete cabling, wiring, cooling pipes and functional validation at factories before shipping the containers. Each site will connect the containers to prepared power, water, cooling and network infrastructure, with additional units added as demand grows.
Armada will also use NVIDIA DSX Air to simulate facilities and validate its Bridge GPU management software before hardware ships. NVIDIA DSX MaxLPS will manage workloads and power use after deployment, while Armada will engineer, manufacture, customize, service and deliver the modular data centers.
