Cerebras inference is coming to Oracle Cloud in 2027

Oct 27, 2026
Cerebras Systems plans to make its AI inference technology available through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in 2027.

Cerebras Systems and Oracle Corporation announced plans to offer Cerebras inference through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in 2027. The service will provide OCI customers with another compute option for AI agents and applications.

Cerebras designed its Wafer Scale Engine to combine compute and memory on a single wafer scale processor. The architecture reduces data movement and communication between chips, supporting rapid token generation for long reasoning sequences and workflows with multiple model calls.

Oracle plans to add Cerebras inference to its existing infrastructure and inference services, which include Dedicated AI Clusters in OCI Enterprise AI.

"Every step an agent makes requires inference, whether it's reasoning, checking its work, or taking action," said Cerebras CEO Andrew Feldman. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure president Mahesh Thiagarajan said the deal adds "another ultrafast and deterministic option" alongside Oracle's other compute.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
