Argentum AI is in talks with a major private credit firm for $5 billion in AI chip financing, Reuters reported, citing two people familiar with the matter.

The financing would fund additional chips for its data center in Poland. The debt would cover chips leased to customers without investment grade ratings. The facility is tied to a $2.5 billion, 300 megawatt agreement with Boosteroid and DL Invest Group signed in May.

One of the people said Argentum AI has secured more than $12 billion in contracted revenue. The Chicago based cloud computing company was founded in 2025 and rents GPU capacity to enterprise customers.
