Former DOJ Antitrust Chiefs Launch FluxCap for Legal Work

Oct 28, 2026
FluxCap uses AI to review documents, conduct research and support legal strategy, initially for antitrust cases.

FluxCap, an AI platform for complex legal work, launched Wednesday, according to ABC News. Former Justice Department antitrust officials Jonathan Kanter and Doha Mekki founded the company and serve as its co-CEOs. Both led the department's antitrust division under President Joe Biden. The New York Times first reported the launch.

Kanter told ABC News his team at the Justice Department could pursue only about 10% of the cases it believed were worth bringing. "We were completely outnumbered," he said.

The platform reviews legal documents, conducts research, identifies gaps in evidence and helps lawyers anticipate opposing arguments. It initially focuses on antitrust law, with plans to add other legal fields.

FluxCap is designed to support lawyers rather than replace their judgment. The founders said the software can complete some research and document review tasks in a fraction of the time required by legal teams.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
