Oracle Brings Applications and Data Into ChatGPT
OpenAI and Oracle are bringing Oracle applications and data into ChatGPT, OpenAI detailed in a company blog post. The move builds on an existing relationship covering the OpenAI API, ChatGPT Work and Codex; Oracle reported 130,000 active ChatGPT users and more than 95,000 active Codex users internally.
Oracle is developing Oracle AI Workspace to connect its applications and data with ChatGPT. Users will be able to find information and complete approved workflows across areas such as finance, procurement, and planning, subject to company permissions.
The companies also listed Oracle AI Security Mesh for finding and fixing vulnerabilities, Oracle App Composer for building applications connected to approved Oracle data, and Oracle AI SMB Bundle for small businesses. The bundle combines ChatGPT Business, Codex, Oracle applications, and recurring Oracle Cloud Infrastructure credits.
Oracle customers in the United States can purchase access to the OpenAI API, Codex, and ChatGPT Work through Oracle Marketplace. They can use existing procurement processes and eligible Oracle Universal Credits.
