Oct 29, 2026
Freshworks acquired Israeli startup Robusta Dev to add AI incident investigation and remediation recommendations to Freshservice. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Freshworks acquired Israel based AI startup Robusta Dev for an undisclosed amount, according to Inc42. The company plans to integrate Robusta Dev's incident analysis technology into its Freshservice IT management platform.

Robusta Dev uses AI agents to analyze monitoring data, IT infrastructure information, and recent code or configuration changes. The system identifies the causes of outages, assesses effects on connected services, and recommends corrective actions. Engineers can review and approve proposed actions before changes reach production systems.

Freshworks also plans to connect the technology with incident response platforms such as FireHydrant. Freshworks previously agreed to acquire FireHydrant, which coordinates responses to software outages, while Robusta Dev adds root cause analysis and remediation recommendations.
