Northstar Security raises $7 million for AI security platform
Northstar Security emerged from stealth with $7 million in seed funding led by Wing Venture Capital, the company announced in a press release. MVP, Outliers and security industry investors Gerhard Eschelbeck, Renaud Deraison and Justin Somaini also participated.
The platform connects data about assets, identities, vulnerabilities, applications and business systems through a real time Security Context Graph. Its AI agents can answer security questions, identify combinations of risks and initiate remediation workflows with human oversight when needed.
Northstar offers more than 70 integrations, including AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Defender, Okta, GitHub, Slack and Workday. It also makes its graph available to external AI agents through Model Context Protocol. The company will use the funding for product development, hiring and sales expansion.
