OpenAI Expands ChatGPT Ads to 26 More Countries
OpenAI is expanding ChatGPT Ads to 26 additional countries, bringing total availability to 89 countries, the company announced on its website. More than 100,000 advertisers have used the platform since ads launched just over eight months ago.
The expansion covers 14 more countries in Latin America, including Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru. Other new markets include Nigeria, South Africa, Serbia, Ukraine, Cambodia, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Advertisers can access the service through technology partners or Ads Manager.
Ads appear only for users on the Free and Go plans. Plus, Pro and Enterprise subscriptions remain ad free. OpenAI says ads are labeled, kept separate from ChatGPT responses and do not give advertisers access to user conversations.
