TCS Showcases Haptic Feedback System for Robotic Surgery
Tata Consultancy Services scheduled a solution showcase of its bidirectional haptic feedback system for robotic surgery at The MedTech Conference 2026 in Boston, hosted by AdvaMed, according to its event page. The session, led by Pere Ventura, TCS's MedTech solutions head, was set for October 19.
TCS says the system uses force sensing, real-time signal processing and haptic rendering to create a closed loop between the surgeon and the operative field, aiming to restore the sense of touch that robotic-assisted surgery has largely lacked. TCS has not published results, and the system is presented as a showcase rather than a product.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
